The marketing writer/content developer is responsible for planning, researching, and writing of marketing collateral, promotions, web content, blog posts, video scripts, and other marketing content, in accordance with strategic positioning and messaging and in pursuit of marketing objectives.
A key member of the marketing communications team, the writer works collaboratively with designers and other team members to concept and develop deliverables, and consults with Telos and partner subject matter experts in developing and reviewing content for accuracy.
This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA.
Responsibilities:
Marketing literature:
Concept, research, draft, and coordinate reviews of marketing literature copy.
Work with graphic designer to develop supporting graphics and ensure final layout supports intended purpose.
Promotions:
Concept and draft email, web, and social media advertising copy.
Website content:
Develop and update company- and offering-related content for Telos and Telos ID websites.
Search Engine Optimization determine appropriate search terms for each new page, ensure page is optimized accordingly and monitoring spreadsheet is updated, review weekly SEO reports and adjust content accordingly.
Videos:
Draft marketing video scripts to effectively deliver key message to target audience.
Collaborate with video designer to develop storyboards to direct final product.
Ghostwriting and editing:
Support SMEs with ghost-writing or editing of articles, blog posts, presentations, etc.

Team support contribute to group brainstorming and concepting of marketing initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, public relations, technical writing, English, computer science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years).
5
years business writing experience in technical field is required; marketing writing experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to craft well organized and impactful writing is required; video script writing experience a plus.
Proven ability to collaborate to deliver creative and effective work product.
Experience with Telos offerings a plus.
The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
