Position Description:
We are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Software Engineer II for our Wireless Group/Commsearch Organization located in our facility in Ashburn, VA.
JOB
Summary:
Design, develop, modify, and test software applications supported by the Product Development group. The developer will work closely with the development team and assist in code reviews, requirement analysis and research and implementation of new software tools.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Design, develops, modify and test software programming applications.
Adhere to all development standards while implementing features.
Identify and debug complex software problems.
Supports all software applications in development, Quality Assurance and production states.
Performs thorough unit testing for all software products modified and / or created.
Qualifications:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering required with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience or a completed Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering with 0 to 2
years of relevant education and experience.
Developer must be proficient in Java, C+
and OOD for X86 and Solaris OS. Knowledge in C is a plus.
Besides Java, C+
and C the developer is expected to use a variety of other programming languages and applications such as 3D Graphics, Perl, SQL, shell scripts, stored procedures, etc.
Must be very detailed oriented and well acquainted with configuration management systems and adhere to software coding standards.
Experience in the Microwave design industry is a plus.
