96 an hour 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago Job Overview The Head Start Family and Community Partnership Assistant is responsible for assisting the Head Start Family and Community Partnership Coordinator in providing services for children and families from diverse backgrounds enrolled and enrolling in the Head Start Program.
This position requires an ability to keep accurate records and to communicate responsibly and respectfully with families, school system employees, and community partners.
Roles and Responsibilities The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed.
This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; work may differ and other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate.
Act as primary telephone, email, and in-person contact for families Provide application support by phone or in-person (enrollment/general information) Complete Income Details follow-up by phone or in-person Request, collect, and upload eligibility documentation Calculate family income to verify eligibility for the Head Start program using federal guidelines Provide transportation support for classroom staff and families of enrolled students Record and manage daily attendance and conduct absence follow-up for all enrolled students Assist the Family and Community Partnership Coordinator with projects, as requested Other duties as assigned Qualifications Below are the minimum qualifications for this job.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.
Education High School Diploma or GED Experience General office experience Licenses and Certifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data management systems Good organizational, human relations and communication skills Bilingual preferred Physical Requirements The following provides a brief description of physical requirements for this job:
