Manufacturing Engineer


Responsibilities:
Provides manufacturing/process engineering support for a variety of Unified Communication products.
Provides technical guidance in addition to timely problem resolution to assembly technicians.
Participates in engineering technical reviews, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and interfaces with Test Engineering/Design Engineering departments to develop robust test procedures and design for assembly concepts.
Determines assembly line balance based on product cycle time and TAKT rate.
Develops fixturing to improve workflow and reduce injuries.
Applies lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.
Investigates root cause of failures/defects and implements corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
Ensures consistency in assembly processes across the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Any individual who is granted US citizenship Any individual who is granted US permanent residence (ie, a Green Card holder) Any individual who is granted status as a protected personEducation and Experience Bachelors Degree in Engineering related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Bachelors degree preferred Five years in as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment with an emphasis on LEAN manufacturing techniques Experience in resolving engineering, planning, quality, assembly, and fabrication problems.
Experience with Unified Communication assemblies (Phones, Video, Computer, Switches, Routers, etc.
) desired Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software desiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge and successful application of manufacturing methods and procedures to include manufacturing quality Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs and create manufacturing work instructions to meet all requirements.
Ability to work closely with design engineering, manufacturing operators, test, quality assurance and other operations support teams.
Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience conducting time studies and assembly line balancing Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Understanding of lean and six sigma principles is a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
