Implementation Engineer _ Telecommunications Engineer - III
Working Model:
Currently the resource will be 100 Work from home.
However in the future once offices reopen they will be expected to meet in the Ashburn office once or twice a week.

IP Implementation Engineer IP Engineering requiring a skilled experienced and motivated individual with ability to quickly learn and understand a wide-range of IP Technologies and Virtualization.
In this position the candidate is responsible for delivering detailed engineering systems solutions in the areas of IP/MPLS network engineering Virtualization port and bandwidth capacity engineering IP network audits and Database cleanup in support of the Public IP products and services.
The candidate will work on a regular basis on project teams consisting of personnel from other internal teams ensuring that network services are engineered and delivered to the requirements of the project with primary responsibility for systems within network engineering port and bandwidth capacity engineering.
The candidate will be required to support senior Engineers with Database cleanup and remediation managing fiber runs at POPs and Datacenters as well as supporting the deployment of Virtual Machine servers across the footprint.
In this project team environment the candidate must work well with all team members of all involved organizations and become integral to the project.
The candidate will also work extensively with Account Sales team in support of new customer additions and should understand major network vendors to ensure that Company requirements are engineered and implemented to the required specifications.
Required Skills Experience 4 or more years of IP networks network operations and/or equivalent qualified experience in large Service Provider Network Basic knowledge and understanding of major network vendor equipment providers Juniper Cisco Nokia Dell.
Good knowledge of Sustaining IP Engineering organization and understanding of Engineering practices and procedures.
Must be an excellent communicator and quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills positive attitude and be a good team player with a willingness to learn.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Aptitude for network engineering systems as well as data retrieval.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills Experience Bachelors of Science in Computer Science Engineering Telecommunications Management and relevant experience.
Experience and in-depth understanding of Verizons Public IP network.
A basic understanding of virtualization servers and VMs.
Experience with IPNMP CCP SNM Virtualization software.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
