In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse to maximize efficiency, productivity, and organization, with a focus on space planning and organization skills.
DUTIES Oversee daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and organization.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and organization, with a specific emphasis on space planning.
Manage inventory control systems and maintain inventory levels, restocking in a timely manner while optimizing space utilization.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper organization of inventory and equipment.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, coordinating deliveries to optimize warehouse space.
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring it is properly stored and organized for efficient use.
QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the same or similar industry, with a demonstrated ability in space planning and organization.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and experience with shipping and receiving processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on optimizing space and organization.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple aspects of warehouse operations simultaneously.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems, with experience in space planning software a plus.
Comfortable with technology, including computers and apps.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
