P/T Mobile Computer Teacher for Elementary Level Classes
Game Design Robotics Modeling Programming
Compensation is $49 per class some exceptions apply
C3 Cyber Club is an established company that teaches exciting kids computer classes for ages 6 to 14 years old like Minecraft Modding, Lego Robotics and Video Game Design for Public School as an afterschool program. We are the only company offering these unique kids computer classes in the tristate area. If youre interested in video game design, programming, or 3D modeling and love kids, this is a great opportunity to get on board as our company continues to grow! Paid training and curriculum are provided. This is a great job for college students/parttimers interested in gaining teaching experience and learning more in this exciting field. We are hiring several teachers, entry level positions are available.
Classes meet once a week at each school and run for 6 to 8 weeks. Teachers are often assigned to more than one site depending on their availability.
We teach AfterSchool classes! Typical hours are 2pm to 5:30pm depending on location. Limited morning and evening classes available.
REQUIREMENTS:Candidates must have their own vehicle in order to transport laptop equipment.
Duties
? Teach computer classes at public schools in Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, Rockville, or DC
? Travel to our local storage offices in the above areas to pick up equipment then travel to schools with your own reliable transportation
? Teach Game Design, Programming, 3D Lego Design, or Lego Robotics class
? Set up up to 12 Laptops and equipment depending on class size
? Interact with parents and school staff
Qualifications
? Loves working with and teaching kids between 5 and 12 years old
? Good interpersonal and communication skills
? Must be able to work well independently and under pressure
? Has an interest in video games, programming, or technology
? PLUS Has experience with Java programming, Lego Mindstorm, or any 3D modeling Software
? PLUS Has some childcare or teaching experience
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have their own vehicle in order to transport laptop equipment. This is a part-time contract job from January 2015 through March 2015 for our Winter sessions. More classes are available in future sessions. Opportunities to teach for our year long evening and weekend classes also available. Classroom Management and Software Paid Training Provided!
